Hello again!

Well, those of you who care will be happy to know that I finally made a decision about my life, and a pretty dern big one at that. I decided that I'm going to get my degree in Medical Office Assisting, with certifications in Medical Transcription and Medical Office Management. Why? Because it's something I can do where I live now and I can get the degree in a fairly short amount of time, compared to my original plans. And I can make decent money doing that for a living, plus, I won't have to be on call or anything, so that means more free time for an actual life. So! Enough about that. I'm just going to git-r-dun. I already have my summer and fall schedules all planned out. Now all I need is a well-paying job. But that's another story.

Tomorrow is my last exam, but then I have to start taking classes again on the 12th, so no vacation for me. Oh well. I'll still have a reduced work load (at least until I get a new job) so I'll probably be catching up on my to do list.

My birthday was on Saturday, the 3rd. So I'm now officially not a teenager anymore. Woo. I didn't really do anything special...went to Dallas and hung with those folks up there. Got a pair of jeans and three shirts and some new bras ( I'm so sure ya'll wanted to know that) and some money and I think I'm also getting a sleeve for my laptop. I hope!

Also! I won my first contest on DA! I'm so super excited! I got first place in ~Jullelin's contest to draw one of her characters as a pegasus. There is also a guy who works with my mom who wants to put a design similar to that one on his CAR. He has some super fancy Mustang and he gets custom paint jobs on it whenever he has the extra cash. So he wants to commish a similar pegasus from me (I told him he couldn't have the one I entered in the contest because Xanthus isn't my character). So that's going to be really cool, and I'll definitely post the pictures of his car once it's painted with my design.

Daisy Baby Update
Daisy is getting better every day! She eats like a horse now and she wags her tail almost constantly. Her depressed sighs sound much more content now too. The bad news is she has heartworms. She's going to start treatment next week, I believe. And that's an ongoing thing. She will have to be at the vets for a few days, come home for a few days, and then go back again since the treatment is so intensive. Poor baby just can't catch a break.
